During July and August, New Paltz Rock are providing rock band workshops for school age students. The workshops are designed to teach students how to work as a team, discover what it takes to make a great sound, learn new skills, and experience the excitement of putting on a performance at the end of the week. They will come away with a new found confidence in themselves and their playing. Workshop Dates: 7/13-7/17 – ages 9-12; 7/20-7/24 – ages 9-12; 7/27-7/31 – ages 13-16; 8/10-8/14 – ages 13-16. Workshops run Monday to Friday, 10am-3pm, at the Unframed Artists Gallery in New Paltz. Students must have basic skills on their instrument.
