Almanac Weekly’s calendar of events (Dec. 31-Jan. 9)

what to do @

Note to our readers: Every page marks a different date in our online Almanac Weekly calendar of events.  The weekly post includes: premier listings on the first page; the events for Thursday on page 2; Friday on page 3; Saturday on page 4; etc.

How to get your event in Almanac Weekly’s calendar:

If you’d like to submit information about an upcoming event for publication in our popular calendar of events, please e-mail a single-spaced, plain-text document file to Donna Keefe, our calendar manager, at [email protected]. Send the name of the event, time, date, location of event, a telephone number (for publication) and admission charge (specify if free). A brief description is helpful, too. Events are published in the newspaper as a community service and on a space-available basis. Almanac Weekly’s calendar is printed on Tuesdays, so we must receive all entries no later than the previous Friday at noon. If you’d like to speak with Donna directly, call (845) 334-8200 ext. 104.

  1. Do you publish something like the Almanac for Dutchess County?

    • Yes, Almanac Weekly is on newsstands every Thursday, tucked inside each issue of our sister papers, Woodstock Times, New Paltz Times, Saugerties Times & Kingston Times, but it is also distributed a stand-alone publication throughout Ulster, Dutchess, Columbia & Greene counties.
It includes events and interesting things to do from all those areas.
