Since its founding in 1798 by Peter P. Fraleigh – after he was kicked out of Rhinebeck (reason unknown!) – five generations of Fraleighs have called Rose Hill Farm, in Red Hook, home. Here the family and a friend pose for the camera sometime around World War I. Operated today by Dave and Karen Fraleigh, the farm is a favorite of “pick your own” apple and fruit lovers up and down the Hudson Valley.
